Operation Helping Hands Scholarship

Fullerton College has partnered with Operation Helping Hands (OHH), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity, to offer a rent assistance scholarship to eligible students.

What It Offers
Selected students may receive up to $1,000 per month toward rent (or the actual rent amount, if less than $1,000). Support continues until the student graduates, completes their degree/certificate requirements (approximately 70 units), or otherwise leaves Fullerton College — as long as they continue to meet minimum eligibility requirements.

Who Is Eligible
To be considered, students must:

• Have reported housing insecurity on their financial aid application
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.9 or higher
• Be enrolled in at least 9 units

How to Apply
Complete the Operation Helping Hands Scholarship Application & Form.
Top finalists will be invited to complete an additional interview with the OHH Board of Directors.
At least one student will be selected to receive the stipend; additional students may be selected depending on available funding.
