Classified Employee Food Pantry Access Pilot Program

A two-year pilot program (AB 148) that lets eligible classified employees use Food Pantry services during the 2026–27 and 2027–28 fiscal years.

Eligibility

Access is available to classified employees only. Classified employees may receive grocery services once per week.

Fast Pass

A Fast Pass option may be available during select service periods to help support access for classified employees.

  • Fast Pass services may be suspended during high-volume periods to ensure safe and efficient operations for all visitors.
  • A valid employee ID or other government-issued photo ID is required for verification when utilizing the Fast Pass.
Check-In Instructions
  1. No Fast Pass: Enter through the front entrance and check in through Starfish using your Banner ID.
  2. Fast Pass: Enter through the side door and check in with Food Pantry staff.
  3. Starfish or Banner ID issue: Complete the Community Member Check-In Form instead.
  4. Ongoing Banner ID problems: Contact the Starfish support team for assistance.

Access methods, service availability, and operating procedures may be adjusted during peak service periods to maintain efficient operations and ensure fair access for everyone.
