Student Health Services provides enrolled students with confidential, high-quality care to support both physical and mental well-being. We offer services from physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, psychologists and health educators to help students stay healthy and succeed in college.

Medi-Cal Application Help

Medi-Cal provides free or low-cost health insurance for individuals and families who qualify. Coverage includes doctor visits, immunizations, prescriptions, mental health services, and more. You must live in California and meet income requirements to qualify.

Medi-Cal Drop-In Application Assistance
The Hornets Resource Center offers drop-in Medi-Cal help, in-person and virtually.
Tuesdays: 2 – 4 p.m. (In-Person)

What to bring:

  • Proof of identity (CA Driver’s License, CA ID, or school records)
  • Proof of income (pay stubs, etc.)
  • Proof you live in CA (ID, check stub, utility bill, or school/government doc)
  • Proof of immigration status (if applicable)
  • Class schedule or financial aid summary
